Wisconsin Badgers tackle David Edwards declares for NFL Draft

Wisconsin offensive tackle David Edwards announced on Tuesday on his Twitter account that he's declaring for the NFL Draft, opting to forgo his redshirt senior season.

Edwards dealt with injuries this season, but played in 10 games after playing in all 14 contests the Badgers played in 2016 and 2017.

Edwards is the first Wisconsin player who has eligibility remaining from this year's team to declare.

The deadline for underclassmen or players with eligibility left to declare for the NFL Draft is January 14.
