Barry Alvarez In His Own Words

Former Wisconsin football coach and athletic director Barry Alvarez joined the Steve Czaban Show Friday to talk about life post retirement and to reminisce about his days as coach and AD. He recounted the early years at Wisconsin when he took over a moribund football program and took them to the Rose Bowl in three years. He talked about his philosophy that led to the construction of one of college football's best programs during his tenure, as well as some of his favorite memories as coach. Plus he really has not eased into retirement as he is now working as a liaison between Big Ten football coaches and athletic directors and commissioner Kevin Warren. (Photo/Getty Images)
