The Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay Packers saga has taken another turn, with the revelation that the apparent last straw for Rodgers was the team’s release of wide receiver Jake Kumerow right after Rodgers praised him. The team is also trying to get Rodgers to sign a contract extension but he also wants to have more say in personnel matters, like the release of one of his up and coming receivers. But we also found out yesterday, from former teammate AJ Hawk that Rodgers has no intention of retiring and that he doesn’t, in fact, want general manager Brian Gutenkunst fired.
