Do We Like The California Rule?

The Brewers celebrated a come from behind Opening Day win yesterday at American Family Field and everyone went home happy. One thing that has remained from last year's shortened season is the so-called California Rule. Once a game goes into extra innings, the team batting starts with a runner on second base and the game continues from there. The Twins were not able to capitalize, thanks in large part to Josh Hader throwing straight gas for his three strikeouts. The Brewers are one of a few teams in Major League Baseball that can use this rule to their advantage with Hader and Devin Williams in the bullpen. (Photo/Getty Images)
