Graham Mertz made his debut for the Wisconsin Badgers Friday night at home against Illinois and he was spectacular. He completed 20-of-21 passes for 248 yards and 5 touchdown passes. News broke late Sunday that Mertz tested positive for Covid 19, but no one knows at this point if it is a false positive or a true positive. He tested positive on a point of contact test Saturday morning and now he will take a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test to confirm the positive or if he is negative and in the clear to continue.
