Czabe has an old saying - “we’re here for a good time, not a long time” when it refers to sporting events. We want to see a good game, but we don’t need 23 inning baseball games. Yesterday the Brewers played two games in a doubleheader, albeit seven innings each, in a total of four hours and two minutes. Each game lasted exactly two hours and a minute. Drew is a fan of the seven inning doubleheader, but is not a fan necessarily of shortening the games. A nine inning game that lasts just under three hours is an ideal time. Football games can’t last more than three and a half hours. Gradually leagues are trying to shorten games and it seems to be working.
