KB brings a new segment to the show for Wednesday’s appearance on the show called “Get Over It”. Apparently there is a movement to get rid of the period in sentences because people in Gen Z consider the period hostile. Periods are allegedly overly abrupt and insincere. Instead of using periods in writing you are supposed to omit them and let the reader or the receiver of the message to interpret exactly how you as the writer are feeling. Instead people are supposed to use ellipses to not seem as angry. Periods are only meant to be used at the end of the discussion…this paragraph is now over.
