For quite some time we knew that getting to watch baseball at Miller Park this year was unrealistic meaning that we would have watched our last game as fans. What we may not have known or thought about is that a ground ball out to third base in the 2019 NL Wild Card game against the Nationals, might have been the last at bat of Ryan Braun in a Brewers uniform or any other uniform for that matter. Braun's contract is up in 2020 and with a third child on the way he might call it a career. With all the up's and down's of Braun's career it would figure that his career would end without the opportunity for a last at bat standing ovation. Of course none of this is confirmed yet, but the way baseball has been going off the field, it would seem it is a safe bet.
