The MLB can force players to play a regular season.

Czabe asks how can the commissioner of baseball Rob Manfred force the players to play baseball this season even though they are trying to come to an agreement? It's a loophole in the deal the players signed in March to guarantee them money from the owners this season that apparently the players overlooked. All of the offers so far have basically offered the same amount of money to the players, so the owners are essentially trying to make the players look like the bad guys in the public eye. A shortened season is not ideal for players, especially ones that are about to be a free agent. What if they get hurt? What if they get off to a slow start and their statistics don't look as good going into the off season? It's going to be dicey before anything gets settled - welcome to baseball!!!
