When Experiments Go Bad

Some things are better left to professionals - like having a tooth pulled by a dentist or a mechanic doing the breaks or exhaust on your vehicle. It is definitely something you probably should not try to do yourself. Let's add one more - building a rocket. It is definitely a job for a trained rocket scientist. Mike Hughes was not a rocket scientist, but attempted to build a rocket that was propelled by steam and fly it to 5,000 feet. The launch of the rocket worked, however, the parachute ejected shortly after take off and Hughes crashed back to earth in the rocket and he passed away almost immediately. (Photo/Getty Images)
