On today's episode of The Odd Couple, Chris Broussard & Rob Parker debate Michigan State Head Coach Tim Izzo's comments about wanting to eliminate automatic bids for Mid-Major Programs.
Chris Broussard: "As I much as I love upsets, the Cinderella stories wouldn’t make a good Final Four, but there is so many other things hindering college basketball well beyond having mid majors having automatic bids to the dance.
Rob Parker: "I understand why Tom Izzo is salty towards mid majors, when he's lost to teams like Nevada and George Mason, I get that. I’m against the idea that you want to exclude these teams, because this is what the entire college basketball experience is all about. One night, one miracle shot is made, I mean that’s what it sets apart and makes it special."
