The Packers will look to improve to 5-1 on the season and 3-0 against NFC North opponents when they take on the Lions at Lambeau Field on Monday Night Football. Pete Dougherty from the Green Bay Press-Gazette joined The Crossover with Ted Davis and Dan Needles earlier today to talk all things green and gold as well as an initial look ahead to Monday night’s game. They asked Pete what his overall thoughts on the Lions so far this season and if he’s surprised they’ve played as well as they have to open the season. They also asked him how the Packers defense matches up with the Lions offense and whether the Green Bay offensive line deserves more credit for the recent emergence of the running game. Finally, they asked Pete what his favorite Favre moment was in honor of his birthday being today and whether Pat Mahomes is the modern day version of Favre with the way he plays the game. Take a listen and don’t forget to tune in to Heller and Dolphin from 11am-1pm!
