The Packers continued their fast start to the 2019 season with a 27-16 win over the Denver Broncos at Lambeau Field on Sunday. Bill Huber from Sports Illustrated joined The Crossover with Ted Davis and Brian Butch (filling in for Dan Needles) earlier today to react to Sunday's game. They asked Bill if he expected the revamped defense to be this good this early and just how important the free agency signings on that side of the ball have been. They also asked him if the lack of playmaking at the wide receiver position outside of Davante Adams is an issue and whether or not running the ball more will open up opportunities in the passing game. Finally, they asked Bill if the Packers front office has changed their philosophy to signing younger guys who are less proven but have a higher upside and what he expects to see from the Eagles as they travel to Green Bay on a short week for Thursday's game. Take a listen and don't forget to tune into The Crossover from 11am-1pm!
