Even though he didn't know it at the time, Green Bay's number-one receiver etched his name into the team record book.
Packers wide receiver Davante Adams tied Don Hutson's franchise record for single-game receptions with 14 in Green Bay's 43-34 win over Minnesota. After the game, Adams admitted he had no idea that he had accomplished the feat.
Adams also told reporters after Sunday's win that he was encouraged by the work of fellow receiver Marques Valdez-Scantling, who had a couple of drops but bounced back with some big plays.
With the offense performing so well, Adams said he wasn't surprised, since Aaron Rodgers had a great week of practice and the feeling was that they were in for a big game as they went through their final walk-throughs.
