Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers are among the best quarterback/wide receiver duos in NFL history.
Last offseason, the Green Bay Packers traded Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders for a first and second round pick. This deal was done after the Packers placed the franchise tag on Adams, who stated he would refuse to play under it.
Despite being offered a massive contract extension by Green Bay, Adams requested to be traded. He wanted to go to the Raiders to play with Derek Carr, his college quarterback, and to be closer to his family.
Of course, things did not work out the way Adams might have planned.
