The NFL announced on Monday that the Green Bay Packers will host the Detroit Lions at 7:20pm on Sunday night to close out the regular season. If the Packers win, they will make the playoffs as a wild card team in the NFC.
The Detroit Lions need help to make the postseason. If the Seattle Seahawks beat the Los Angeles Rams earlier in the day, the Lions will be eliminated by the time the game starts at Lambeau Field. The Lions need to beat the Packers and need the Seahawks to lose to make the playoffs.
Both teams are 8-8 coming into Sunday's NFC North battle.
