Today is a very special anniversary in Milwaukee Brewers history. Yes indeed, today is the day, in 1987, that Juan Nieves a young pitcher from Puerto Rico, tossed the Brewers one and only no hitter in the history of the franchise. It still holds up as an all-time moment in Milwaukee Brewers history, a rainy night in Baltimore as Yount dove in centerfield to secure the final out. Did he have to dive? Well, that's a debate that will last forever, but the important thing is that he came up with the ball at the end. Happy 34th anniversary Juan!
