Trash-talking, jawing, scuffling. It's part of sports, and part of any athletic competition. When the competitive juices get flowing in the heat of the battle, those things come out, and it's something that has occurred as long as there has been athletics. The story came out today that Tom Brady extended a text apology to Tyrann Mathieu from their trash-talking and jawing during the Super Bowl. Video showed Brady getting after the Kansas City safety first, and Tyrann sparring back. We may never know what is said, but we do know that is part of what makes sports and competition fun and exciting.
