Top-seeded Martin Luther (25-3) won the Division 3 title with a 58-49 triumph over Waupun in the 2019 State Boys Basketball Tournament Saturday afternoon at the Kohl Center.
The Spartans never trailed in a game remained closely contested throughout. Their largest lead of the game was nine points, achieved for the first time with 2:25 remaining in the first half. They also held that spread at the half, 30-21.

The Crusaders scored the first nine points of the game and led throughout the enitre contest. They built a 20-point advantage at 49-29 for their largest lead of the first half with 25 seconds remaining. They took a 49-31 lead into the locker room.
