Miami Names Malik Rosier Its Starting QB

Mark Richt made is official this morning that redshirt junior Malik Rosier will be starting under center Week 1.

“Malik  has been named the starting quarterback,” head coach Mark Richt said.  “Evan (Shirreffs) is currently number two on the depth chart. The young  guys, N’Kosi Perry and Cade Weldon, will continue to learn and compete.”


Miami opens its season on Saturday, Sept. 2 against Bethune-Cookman.
