Tulane bails on football camp with Jim Harbaugh

Two summers ago Harbaugh and other coaches, like Penn State’s James Franklin and Nebraska’s Mike Riley, were taking their staffs into southern regions to work at football camps.

SEC and ACC rules prohibited such a practice in the past, but now they are allowing for more flexibility. The NCAA initially banned satellite camps, which pleased the SEC and ACC, but later overturned the ban.

For Tulane, having a chance to feed off the enthusiasm generating around the LSU program is a nice perk

Michigan coaches will be at eight football camps this summer with stops in Georgia (Mercer, Valdosta State), Florida (FAU), Tennessee (Tennessee State), Texas (Sam Houston State, Incarnate Word), and Los Angeles (UCLA)
