The Cleveland Browns have had some real issues at quarterback, so they decided to run rookie Shedeur Sanders out for their opening preseason game and frankly, the kid looked pretty good. Doug provides an objective and realistic evaluation of Shedeur’s performance and how it stacks up against the expectations for the budding superstar.

My take is, I thought he was pretty good… Honestly what really matters is the guys in that locker room. If they buy into him, it doesn’t matter what we think. If they will kill for him, it doesn’t matter what we think.”
