Wednesday on 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington look back on a week full of people criticizing the league, team doctors, independent neurologists, coaches and even players for who they handle head injuries. The truth is everyone is trying to do their best to keep players safe and many times it starts with players taking responsibility for reporting their symptoms.

Brady Quinn: "The biggest hurdle that I think players have to get through as far as how they're addressing head injuries, is they're a bigger equation of it, maybe the biggest. When they're suffering symptoms, they have to be the one that comes out and says, I this is what I'm experiencing. Something's not right, I need to take a moment I need to be looked at by the doctors and then you go from there. There's still a lot of guys who would rather not say anything, and play through it and that's just the reality of either the situation that they're in or their mentality when it comes to football. That's just the truth."
LaVar Arrington: "I think that the players that are more aware and are willing to say, 'Listen, something isn't right, so I can't go back in.' That would be frowned upon at a certain point in time in the league, where I don't think that that would be so much frowned upon at this point... When you say [they] understand the risk, I don't think the vast majority of guys understand sometimes the long lasting impacts of what concussions can lead to."
