We won't bury the lead. It's possible that beer sales at American Family Field could be extended past the seventh inning as soon as this week.
On an appearance with Drew & KB on Tuesday, Rick Schlesinger (Brewers President of Baseball Operations) said they are considering extending beer sales past the seventh inning because of the new rules to speed up the game.
“We may in fact do that,” Schlesinger said. They will meet this week to discuss the topic.
Schlesinger also mentioned that group ticket sales and single game ticket sales are both up from last year at this time. Plus, they are lowering concession prices on items such as popcorn, ice cream, and more.
