Wayne Larrivee Unveils When He First Said "The Dagger" With Drew & KB

We've all heard Wayne Larrivee say "there is your dagger" in the winning moment of a Packers game. But when did Larrivee first use that phrase during a Packers game? In 2001. In a tilt between the Ravens and Packers.

That game was the last time the Packers hosted the defending Super Bowl champions at Lambeau Field. That long drought of over 20 years will end on Monday night, when the Los Angeles Rams come to Green Bay as the defending champs.

Larrivee remembers that game in 2001 "vividly" and told Drew & KB about it on Tuesday afternoon. From the Wisconsin Marching Band annoying Ravens Coach Brian Billick, to Brett Favre having a great game.

"I think that's the first game that I ever used the term 'dagger' in the middle of a football game," said Larrivee.

The Packers won 31-23 over Baltimore that day.
