On the second night of a back-to-back in the Mile High city, the Milwaukee Bucks ran out of gas in their 129-106 loss to the Denver Nuggets.
The Bucks held a ten point lead in the first half, but found themselves down 97-85 after the third quarter. The Nuggets outscored the Bucks 34-19 in the third period as Milwaukee only made five shots.
Couple that with a technical foul on Bobby Portis which aided a five point possession for Denver, and it was too much to overcome for the weary Bucks.
Milwaukee has two more games during this four-game road trip. Next up is a battle with the Pistons in Detroit on Monday night at 6:00pm.
