Brewers add Billy McKinney among several roster moves Monday

With two doubleheaders in the next three days, the Milwaukee Brewers were busy on Monday, making roster moves involving six players.

Milwaukee claimed outfielder Billy McKinney off of waivers as one of the moves. McKinney, who had only three plate appearances for Toronto this season, has a career .728 OPS. He was a former first-round draft pick of the Oakland A's, in 2013, and has been involved in three significant trades in his career, according to baseball-reference.com. McKinney was assigned to the Brewers' alternate site.

Pitcher Ray Black was reinstated from the 45-day injured list, while pitcher Justin Topa was recalled from the alternate training site as Monday's 29th player for the doubleheader with St. Louis.

Pitcher J.P Feyereisen was optioned to the alternate training site, while pitcher Trey Supak and infielder Ronny Rodriguez were designated for assignment.
