Since retiring from coaching, Ohio State football coach Urban Meyer is now getting used to his new role with the university.
Meyer is serving as a professor for Ohio State.
The fall semester is beginning for schools all across the country. Meyer will co-teach a character and leadership course at Ohio State over the next few months.
On Wednesday, Meyer spoke to his students about the importance of leadership.
“I can tell you out of my experience why teams don’t win championships,” Meyer said. “It’s not because of talent and it’s not because they didn’t recruit well. You’ll hear all kind of excuses, but it’s because of a lack of leadership.”
