Every NFL team has completed their pre-season and by Thursday night the 2019 NFL Season will kickoff with the Packers vs. Bears in Chicago. Since the lines for week one opened a few months ago: players across the league have been injured, traded, and retired. Changes to the roster means changes to the betting lines, and while you can find the entire list here, I would like to look at a few specific ones.
Here in Jacksonville the Jags open up at home vs the Kansas City Chiefs, the Chiefs are a 4 point road favorite. Seattle, who just completed a trade with the Texans for DE Jadeveon Clowney, is favoried by 9.5 over the Bengals at Home. The Colts, who recently lost QB Andrew Luck due to retirement, open up as a 7 point underdog vs the Chargers. And the Texans, who have in the last week lost Lamar Miller and Clowney but have traded for OL Laremy Tunsil, are 7 point underdogs to the Saints.
