CBS Sports confirmed Tuesday that the Georgia - Notre Dame matchup taking place this fall in South Bend will be in prime time, slated for 8:00PM EST. Per the Atlanta Journal Constitution, ticket prices to this showdown are incredibly expensive, by far the most expensive ticket price of any game this season:
As of Tuesday, the lowest available price for the Georgia-Notre Dame game on TickPick was $600. By comparison, the next most expensive game, LSU at Texas on Sept. 7, had a “get-in” (lowest available) price of $339, according to TickPick.
At another secondary ticket marketplace, StubHub, the lowest price for a Georgia-Notre Dame ticket as of Tuesday was $632.50, including fees. - Tim Tucker, AJC
Also per the AJC, the Georgia vs Notre Dame ticket is a little more than $200 more than Georgia's average ticket price for home games ($389.95) and more than $300 dollars more than Notre Dame's average home ticket price ($273.92).
Georgia finished last season with a resounding loss to the Texas Longhorns in the Sugar Bowl, and Notre Dame was rolled by Clemson in the College Football Playoff semifinal.
