Florida State head coach Willie Taggart has gotten off on the right foot in his effort to restore FSU to the national power it was in the first few years of Jimbo Fisher's reign and erase the toxic culture that seeped through the program last year.
However hard that may be, come the regular season, it's only going to get that much tougher. According to ESPN's 2018 FPI, the Seminoles have the second toughest schedule in the country next year. Florida State opens the season with Virginia Tech, and has a brutal run that begins in late September where they play Louisville, Miami, and Clemson in the span of four weeks. They also play Notre Dame late in the season, two weeks before they play Florida to close out their schedule.
