Chris Broussard & Rob Parker talk about Dallas Cowboys running back, Tony Pollard who was the bright spot of the Cowboys Vs. New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football. With 71 yards, a touchdown, and 10 yards per attempt, he helped propel the Cowboys' offense over Saints, with the final score being 27 to 17. Pollard had one of the biggest plays of the night where he rushed for 58 yards and scored on top of that.
Ezekiel Elliott hasn't looked like his old self and has had underwhelming stats going into this game. He has been dealing with soreness lately, but Chris Broussard thinks Elliot's need to push through it and get his touches is because he's worried about Tony Pollard coming for his spot.
"I'm not saying this as an insult or slight or knock on his character because I think it's a human reaction...I believe Ezekiel Elliott doesn't want to sit out a game because he's afraid that Tony Pollard will take his job. Tony Pollard has already been more impressive than him, all year."
