Last Week's Blazin' 5 record: 2-3

2021 Blazin' 5 record: 4-6

Washington Football Team at Bills (SPREAD: BUF -7)

“Like it? I LOVE IT, in fact I bet this Monday night and got 8.5 points. The number is not as good now but it’s +7 Washington and I’ll take the Washington Football Team. Nobody is fooling anyone in this game. McDermott and Ron Rivera used to coach together in Carolina. Taylor Heinicke may not be Brady but he completes 70% of his throws in the three games that he’s started. They have excellent receivers, a decent running game, and Washington will be able to move the chains against a Buffalo team that is a better defense but their offense is totally out of sync. They have the second-lowest graded offense according to Pro Football Focus, and only the Jags are worse. Washington’s defense hasn't allowed a 100-yard rusher in 15 straight games and hasn’t allowed someone to score over 30 in their last nine. This is way too many points here. I am going to take Buffalo to win in the last seconds, but I’m taking Washington to keep it close, 24-23, Bills.”

Colin's prediction: Bills 24, Washington Football Team 23.

Colin's pick: Washington +7

Saints at Patriots (SPREAD: NO -2.5)

“Like it? I LOVE THIS. We have got the Saints living out of a hotel for another week. This is too much chaos for an organization. In two games I know exactly what I get with the Patriots. They’re 1-1 but I know exactly what I get. The Saints were great the first week and were terrible last week. They have the worst passing offense in the league right now and New England’s defense is fantastic. Not only is New England’s defense number two in total defense but it has five interceptions this year, most in the NFL. I get a team where I know exactly what I get against a team who has given me two different images, one of which was absolutely atrocious. Take the points, the Patriots are going to win and cover, 27-20, New England.”

Colin's prediction: Patriots 27, Saints 20.

Colin's pick: New England -2.5

Bengals at Steelers (SPREAD: PIT -3)

“Like it? I LOVE IT. I love the Bengals +3. Big Ben is not 100% and he hasn’t been good even when he was 100%. The Steelers are the only team in the league with a bottom three grade in passing AND running and Ben is not healthy. They can’t do anything right and the Steelers defense is suffering because of it; because they’re on the field too long. Their defense now is the fourth-worst pass defense in the league. How is that possible? TJ Watt is not healthy and the defense is on the field the entire game. Joe Burrow last week had his worst game as a pro, he’ll bounce back. I’ll take the Bengals to win outright, 27-24.”

Colin's prediction: Bengals 27, Steelers 24.

Colin's pick: Cincinnati +3

Dolphins at Raiders (SPREAD: LV -3.5)

“I got a better number than this but it’s Dolphins +3.5. I REALLY like Miami here. Here is a funny stat: the Raiders are the 38th NFL team to start the year with three straight teams who won 10+ games the previous year. The first 37, NONE of them went 3-0. So are the Raiders going to do what’s NEVER been done in the league?? Think about this, the Dolphins are coming off a humiliating loss. Teams that get beat by 30-35 points 62% of the time come back and cover the next week. The Dolphins defense despite their issues is still graded highly, and the Raiders cannot run the football, they are a one-dimensional offense and I think it’s going to catch up to them. I think the Dolphins upset the Raiders, 26-23, take the points.
Colin's prediction: Dolphins 26, Raiders 23

Colin's pick: Miami +3.5

Eagles at Cowboys (SPREAD: DAL -3.5)

“LOVE THIS. By the way, Jalen Hurts has the second-most rushing yards as a quarterback in the league, and he’s averaging 7.8 yards before contact. What does that mean? HELLA GOOD OFFENSIVE LINE. He’s got eight yards before you even touch him, that’s good scheming and a good o-line. Their defense right now as long as it’s healthy has played way better than expected. The Cowboys are also surrendering a lot of big plays. Dallas’ defense has surrendered 12 ‘big plays’ this year, the second-most in the NFL, and Jalen Hurts is averaging 8 yards before he is touched. I’m calling an upset, Philadelphia +3.5, Eagles win 24-23.”

Colin's prediction: Eagles 24, Cowboys 23.

Colin's pick: Philadelphia +3.5
