On today’s “Straight Outta Vegas with RJ Bell” RJ and the crew discuss how Vegas is not buying Urban Meyer’s commitment to the NFL and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Merely 10 days ago, the odds of Urban Meyer being the first head coach to lose his job this season were 50/1. Since the opening of the USC job, Vegas has bumped him up to the 3rd favorite on the list, only behind Broncos HC Vic Fangio and Bears HC Matt Nagy. RJ and the crew discuss the desirability of the USC job, and if either Trevor Lawrence or Urban Meyer have a chance at succeeding in the NFL.

RJ Bell: “Urban Meyer’s quote says, ‘There’s no chance. I’m here and committed to try to build an organization.’ So he’s committed to ‘trying to build an organization’ which tells me that there is no organization to build from. That’s a real indictment to everything that came before him. So from my standpoint, Vegas is saying these rumors surrounding him and USC aren’t nothing. They were favorites this week against Houston and got beat pretty bad. Since then, Vegas has downgraded Jacksonville a ton for all of their matchups the rest of the season."
