The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted LB Joe Giles-Harris to the active roster from the practice squad and placed LB Myles Jack on the team’s reserve/injured list, the club announced today. This will effectively end Jack's season. The Jaguars filled Giles-Harris’ spot on the practice squad by signing back CB Breon Borders.
Giles-Harris, 6-2, 234, has appeared in one game for the Jaguars in 2019 after spending most of the season on Jacksonville’s practice squad. He attended Duke and played in 34 games for the Blue Devils, compiling 312 tackles, 32 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. As a senior in 2018, Giles-Harris finished with 80 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 1.0 sack. He attended St. Joseph Regional (Montvale, N.J.) High School and earned all-league, all-county, all-metro and all-state honors as a senior.
