As part of SEC Media Days Steve Spurrier is promoting a new film, “Saturdays in the South: A History of SEC Football.”
Along with Spurrier, Herschel Walker and Archie Manning were also in attendance.
Spurrier was asked by Reddit who his Heisman Trophy front runners are for the 2019 season, and his answer, while off-the-cuff, was Gators QB Feleipe Franks.
“Heisman?” Spurrier asked. “Not that I know of … Feleipe Franks.”
His answer was non nonchalant but still it'll be sure to grab some headlines and attention.
Franks is coming off a pretty solid year in Gainesville where he thres for 2,600 yards 24TDs and 6INTs in leading the Gators to a 10-3 season a Chick Fil-A Peach Bowl win.
