EJ Smith, the son of Florida Gators legend Emmitt Smith, has made his plans to be in The Swamp this fall. He told 247 Sports he plans on being in Gainesville the weekend of Oct. 5 when UF hosts Auburn, which has also been designated Florida’s homecoming weekend.
A 4-star all-purpose back recruit, EJ named Florida to his final five, along with Georgia, Texas A&M, Stanford and Ohio State, this summer. Dan Mullen does not currently have a running back pledge in the 2020 class.
