Tyree Appleby announced this weekend that he is taking is talents to Gainesville.
Last season, Appleby averaged 17.2 points, 5.6 assists, and 3.7 rebounds per game while averaging 38.9-percent from the three-point range.
In two years at Cleveland State, he has averaged 14.3 points per game, 4.7 assists per game, and 3.0 rebounds per game while going 36.5-percent from three.
Appleby joins a Florida team that will contend for an SEC title and has a chance to be one of the better teams in the country. The Gators have won 20 or more games in each of the last four seasons.
