Report: FSU Could Lose Millions In Ticket Revenue In 2019

Florida State could lose millions in ticket revenue this upcoming football season, according to a report by Ira Schoffel on Warchant.com. Per Schoffel:

"According to numbers obtained by Warchant.com through a public records request, FSU is in danger of selling less than 25,000 of a possible 40,000 "main bowl" season tickets for the 2019 season."
"According to FSU's planned budget for the coming year, the Seminoles are projecting a decrease of more than $8 million in overall football ticket revenue -- from over $23 million to around $15 million." Ira - Schoffel, Warchant

Florida State has had two back-to-back subpar seasons by the program's lofty standards, posting a 7-6 record in 2017 and a 5-7 record in 2018. The Seminoles missed out on a bowl game for the first time in 36 years after their disastrous 2018 campaign.
