USF's two-for-one agreements with prominent Power Five opposition is about to make the green and gold a little greener!
Upon a public-records request, USF provided its three-game contract with the University of Miami, which indicates the Bulls will receive a guarantee of $1.15 million for the series’ third game (Sept. 9, 2028 in Miami Gardens).
The cash flow for USF is similar to those resulting from two-for-one deals with Louisville and Alabama. The Bulls get a total of $1.2 million for a pair of trips to Louisville early the next decade, according to terms of that series contract.
The contract for the 'Bama series hasn’t yet been released, but Bulls athletic director Michael Kelly said USF will get a $1 million guarantee for its third game against the Crimson Tide (Sept. 12, 2026 in Tuscaloosa).
Additionally, the USF-Miami deal comes with a $3 million per-game buyout, meaning the 'Canes must pay USF $3 million for any game in the series it wishes to cancel, and vice versa.
The contract also states the visiting institution for each game will be allotted 2,000 complimentary tickets, with the option to request an additional 500.
