SEC Breaks NFL Draft Record

Of the 254 players selected in this year’s draft, 64 of them came from the SEC.T hat is the most any one conference has produced in since the Common Draft era started in 1967.

The SEC absolutely lapped all of the other conferences, with the Big Ten coming in second with 40 players. The Pac-12 had 33 players selected, the ACC had 28 selected, and the Big 12 had 26 players selected. Every other conference had fewer than a dozen players taken.

Auburn and Ole Miss each had six players selected, while Florida, Kentucky, and Mississippi State each had five.

Arkansas, LSU, and South Carolina each had three players selected, while Missouri and Vanderbilt had two.

The only SEC school that didn’t have any players selected in the draft was Tennessee.
