Jaguars trade up in 2nd round to draft Gator's OL Jawaan Taylor

Many people speculated the Jaguars might draft Florida Offensive Tackle Jawaan Taylor with the 7th overall pick last night, when the second round began and he was still on the board they quickly made a move to trade up to the 35th overall pick as they negotiated a deal with the Raiders. The Jaguars already got a steal last night when they drafted Kentucky LB Josh Allen when he was still available at #7 overall, and now they've secured a pick many believed they would take with that 7th overall, similar to the situation with Myles Jack when he was drafted in the 2nd round of 2016.

The Jaguars will still have two 3rd round picks for Friday Night, they traded their 2nd round 38th overall pick and a 109th (4th round) to the Raiders for the 35th, 140th (5th round) and 235th (7th Round).
