Tate Martell Struggles During Miami’s Spring Game

Tate Martell left Ohio State for Miami earlier this year. In his first performance with the Hurricanes the former Buckeye had some ups and downs He struggled with his accuracy and took a few sacks.

One fan tried to start an “Overrated” chant for the highly touted transfer from the Ohio State Buckeyes, but no one followed,

Even in the second half when Miami let Martell run its second-team offense against the third-team defense, the redshirt junior struggled to move the ball.

N’Kosi Perry and Jarren Williams played well on Saturday. Perry spent time in 2018 as the starting quarterback, splitting time with former starter Malik Rosier.

Martell saw limited action for the Buckeyes in 2018. He completed 23-of-28 passes for 269 yards and one touchdown. He also rushed the ball 22 times for 128 yards and two touchdowns.
