John Calipari Responds to UCLA Coaching Rumors

According to a report from UCLA’s 247Sports site, Calipari reportedly showed “serious interest” in the Bruins’ head coaching vacancy.

It was suggested Calipari showed interest in leaving the Wildcats for the Bruins.

Calipari addressed the story via twitter:

“Before I go to bed, let me just say this: I’m coaching at the Univ. of Kentucky,” Calipari said on Twitter.
“In my opinion, there is no better job in the world to coach basketball. My plan and my desire is to retire at Kentucky. I think the university feels the same as I do and we’ve talked openly about it.”

Right now John Calipari is making $7 million a season to coach at Kentucky.
