Clemson's O.C. Jeff Davis Takes A Jab At SEC Offenses

Clemson's offensive coordinator Jeff Scott posted a graphic depicting Clemson’s performance versus the team’s three SEC opponents, as well as the top ACC opponents.

The graphic indicated that Clemson’s offense performed significantly better against the defenses of Texas A&M, South Carolina, and Alabama, compared to the defenses of Syracuse, N.C. State, and Boston College.

This past season Clemson wound up averaging 44.3 points per game, the fourth best in the nation. On defense, the team allowed just 13.1 points per game, the best rate in the nation.

The 28 points that the Tigers scored against Texas A&M was the third lowest against any opponent on the season, while the 56 they scored against South Carolina were only the fourth most.
