Torrian Gray has spent the last two seasons on an NFL sideline as the Defensive Backs coach for the Washington Redskins, but now the Florida Gators are adding him back to their coaching staff to coach their DB's.
Gray was already on the UF coaching staff in 2016 for one season before 2017 and 2018 in Washington. Florida Head Coach Dan Mullen had this to say about the hire: “Obviously, Torrian brings a high level of familiarity with our program and the Southeastern Conference. His track record of preparing players for the NFL and his success coaching at that level speaks for itself. Meanwhile, with his strong recruiting ties to the state of Florida and the fact that he played for Coach Grantham in college will make this transition seamless.”
