Ohio State quarterback Tate Martell has taken to Twitter to officially announce his decision to transfer to Miami.
“right back like we never left… I’M A HURRICANE!” he wrote.
Martell’s decision to transfer to Miami doesn't come as to much of a shock. The Buckeyes’ now former quarterback has multiple high school teammates playing for the Hurricanes, all of whom have been recruiting him to South Florida.
With Martell headed to Miami it appears that Maryland is the clear cut front runner to land former Alabama QB Jalen Hurts. His final two choices were said to be the Terps and the Canes. With Martell on his way to join Manny Diaz it would appear that a reunion with former Bama OC and current Maryland head coach Mike Locksley is inevitable.
