'Godfather of DBU' interviewing for UGA job

LSU DB Coach Corey Raymond has been dubbed by many the "Godfather of DBU" for his excellent recruiting for the Tigers. Now, according to LSU.Rivals.com, he has been spotted on campus at UGA to interview for an open coaching position as a DB Coach and/or Defensive Coordinator. Raymond has been on the LSU coaching staff since 2012 and is widely considered to be their best recruiter, being credited with bringing in Derek Stingley in their most recent class who is the #1 Ranked DB coming out of High School.

Raymond, who has been granted permission from LSU to interview for other jobs, is entering the last year of a 3 year contract where he has been making roughly $410k per year. Former Ole Miss DC Wesley McGriff is among others who have interviewed for the position.
