NFL Wild Card Ratings Climb Across Board

The opening round of the NFL Playoffs was a success for the league, Austin Karp of the Sports Business Journal reports that Wild Card weekend saw an increase of 10% in ratings over last year. Each time slot showed an increase in ratings over the year before.

The Eagles-Bears game received a 22.9 overnight rating (+12% from last year), the Chargers-Ravens scored a 17.8 (+2% from last year), the Seahawks vs the Cowboys pulled a 17.7 (+19% from last year), and the Colts-Texans pulled a 15.3 (+4% from last year).
