KANYE WEST and NFL legend JIM BROWN had their lunch date with PRESIDENT TRUMP yesterday. Before they ate, they had a little powwow for the media in the Oval Office.
And yes, Kanye rambled. A lot. He commanded the conversation for most of 24 minutes in his usual way . . . some interesting, well thought-out points interspersed with a whole lot of off-the-top-of-his head nonsense.
He made the most sense talking about prison reform, and bringing jobs back to America. But of course, he didn't stop there.
He praised his Make America Great Again hat, saying, quote, "When I put this hat on, it made me feel like Superman. You made a superman cape for me."
He asked liberals to stop insulting Trump because, quote, "If he don't look good, we don't look good."
He said we have to reform education because school is boring. He suggested letting kids play basketball while they're learning math.
He said that when his liberal friends tell him Trump is racist, he replies, quote, "You think racism can control me? Oh that don't stop me, that's an invisible wall."
Oh, and when he said PRESIDENT BUSH didn't care about black people, it was because he had been, quote, "programmed to think from a victimized mentality . . . a welfare mentality."
He talked about his very high IQ, and how he was never bipolar . . . he was just sleep-deprived.
He showed Trump a Gif on his phone of what he called the iPlane One . . . a hydrogen-powered plane that he hopes will someday replace Air Force One. (And by the way, it appears that Kanye's password is SIX ZEROES.)
He said he made hats with a new version of Trump's logo: Simply "Make America Great". And he hopes to see both Trump and COLIN KAEPERNICK wearing them at the Super Bowl.
Trump ate the whole thing up, obviously. He seemed particularly impressed with Kanye's "If he don't look good, we don't look good" line. Apparently, he didn't realize it was bitten from an old Vidal Sassoon tagline.
